Terms and Conditions
Effective date: 29 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and SaffOnline (saffonline.com). Please read them before you sign up. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use SaffOnline.
1. About SaffOnline
SaffOnline (“we”, “us”) is an online course platform for university students in Lebanon, and the seller of every course on the site. You can reach us at:
- Email: [email protected]
- Address: Beirut, Lebanon
2. Who can use SaffOnline
- You must be a student at a supported university: AUB, LAU, Balamand, Haigazian, NDU or USEK. Students at other universities can ask us to add theirs; we decide case by case.
3. Your account
- To sign up, you give your full name, major, year of study, university and university email, and if you like, your phone number. The email must belong to the university you pick. Personal emails (such as Gmail) are not accepted.
- You sign in with a 6-digit code that we send to your university email. Keep access to that email private. Anything done with your account is your responsibility.
- The information you give must be true and your own.
- Your name, phone number and email cannot be changed from your account, because your name and phone appear on the videos and notes you watch (see section 7). If something is wrong, contact us and we will correct it.
- One account per person. Accounts cannot be shared, sold or transferred.
4. What we sell
- Each course is sold in parts and packages, such as Videos, Notes, Practice Basic, Practice Plus, Videos + Practice combinations, and single chapters. Not every course sells every part: the course page shows what it sells, what each package includes and its price.
- Bundles per course: a course may sell bundles. A bundle is a set of that course’s parts, and sometimes its exams, at one price for full term access. A part that is in a bundle is not sold on its own on that course. If you already paid for a part of the course this term, that amount counts toward a bundle that holds it. If another bundle holds everything yours holds and more, you can switch to it by paying the difference; your access still ends on the same day. Your bundle keeps exactly what it held when you bought it.
- Some courses also sell exams, each one on its own: mock exams (timed; the timer starts when you press Start; a set number of tries; the answers open as the exam says) and past papers (a past exam read on the site, with its answers when you finish). Exams are read and taken on the site only; there is no download.
- Prices are set per course and shown in US dollars (USD).
- Full term access: every package gives access until the last exam day of the current term at your university, as set on the course page when you order. Access then ends. We set term dates from each university’s published calendar; if your university changes its dates, we may adjust them, but we do not promise to extend access because of a change.
- Free sample: signed-up students can start any course for free. Each course page shows what you can try in that course. Please use it to decide whether the course suits you before you pay.
- We may change packages, prices and course content at any time. A change never affects an order that is already activated, except that we may fix mistakes in content.
5. Discounts
- We may offer discounts such as early-bird prices, a last-month discount (10% off combination packages, rounded down to the dollar), multi-course savings (when one order holds two or more courses) and discount codes.
- Discounts do not stack. If more than one could apply, you get the single best one.
- Discount codes have their own conditions (such as an end date or a use limit) and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- We may end or change an offer at any time. This does not affect orders already placed.
6. Payment, activation and refunds
- Payment is made with Whish. You approve the payment in Whish, on Whish’s own page. You pay the price shown, with no fee on top.
- Your access starts once Whish confirms your payment to us and the amount matches the order total. This usually takes a minute. If a payment does not match, we check it by hand and contact you.
- A Whish payment you do not finish closes after 30 minutes and nothing is charged. If an order is not paid, we send one reminder email and cancel the order at the end of day 3.
- No refunds after activation. If we cannot activate your order, we return the money. Once your order is activated, it cannot be refunded, canceled or exchanged, in full or in part. This is why you can start every course for free first.
- If you are charged the wrong amount because of our mistake, contact us and we will put it right.
7. Watermark: your name and phone on the content
Every video and page of notes you view shows your full name and phone number as a watermark (your email instead, if you gave no phone number). This is how we protect the content from being shared. By using SaffOnline, you agree to this.
Back to contents8. Rules of use
The courses are for your own personal study only. You agree that you will not:
- share your account, sign-in codes or access with anyone;
- use more than 2 devices, or play more than one video at a time;
- record, download, screenshot, screen-capture, copy or redistribute any video, notes, questions or flashcards;
- hide, cover, remove, blur or change the watermark;
- tamper with, inspect, bypass or interfere with the video player, the site or its security, or use tools, scripts or browser extensions to do so;
- sell, rent, publish or post any SaffOnline content anywhere, including group chats, drives and social media;
- use the site in a way that breaks the law or harms SaffOnline or other students.
Devices: you can use up to 2 devices. To swap a device, email us and we will reset it.
Tamper alerts: the site watches for signs of tampering. If it sees one, it may pause playback and record an alert on your account. We review every alert ourselves before acting on it.
Back to contents9. What happens if you break the rules
- If we find that you have shared your account or content, or tampered with the player, the watermark or the site, we will close your account with no refund, and you lose access to everything you bought.
- For other breaches, we may warn you, freeze your account (videos switched off) or close it, depending on how serious the breach is.
- Where we can, we will tell you what happened and let you explain before we close an account. Our decision after review is final.
- We may also take legal action where content has been copied or published.
10. About the content
- Course material (notes, questions, flashcards) is made by people. Some videos are made with AI, and every video is checked by certified academics before it is published.
- SaffOnline is a study aid. It does not replace your lectures, textbooks or instructors.
- SaffOnline is not affiliated with, approved or endorsed by any university, including the universities listed above. University names are used only to say whose students can sign up.
- We do not guarantee any grade, result or exam outcome.
- We work hard to keep the content accurate, but it may contain errors. If you spot one, please report it to us so we can fix it. Always check against your course material and your instructor when in doubt.
11. Our content and ownership
All content on SaffOnline (videos, notes, questions, flashcards, text, design, logo and the name SaffOnline) belongs to SaffOnline, or is used with permission. Buying a package gives you a personal, limited, non-transferable right to view it for your own study during your access period. It does not give you any ownership of it or any right to copy or share it.
Back to contents12. Availability of the service
- We try to keep SaffOnline running smoothly, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of faults. It may be down at times for maintenance, updates, internet problems or problems with our service providers.
- If a technical problem on our side stops you from using what you paid for for a long time, contact us and we will look for a fair solution, such as extra access time.
13. Limits on our responsibility
- SaffOnline is provided “as is”. To the extent Lebanese law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost marks, lost time or lost opportunities.
- If we are found responsible for a loss, our total responsibility is limited to the amount you paid for the order concerned.
- Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited under Lebanese law.
14. Your privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights. It is part of these terms.
Back to contents15. Ambassadors
We may run an ambassador program in which students share discount codes. If we do, it will have its own separate terms. If you use an ambassador’s code, that ambassador sees only your first name and the course, nothing else.
Back to contents16. Emails
We send emails needed to run your account, such as sign-in codes and order and activation messages. These always send. Reminder and offer emails (such as “your access is ending soon”) can be switched off in your account settings.
Back to contents17. Closing your account
You can ask us to close your account at any time by contacting us. Closing your account does not entitle you to a refund for an activated order.
Back to contents18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make an important change, we will tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect. The effective date at the top always shows the current version. If you keep using SaffOnline after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms. Changes do not apply backwards to orders already activated in a way that reduces what you paid for.
Back to contents19. Law and disputes
- Lebanese law applies to these terms, including Law No. 81/2018 on Electronic Transactions and Personal Data.
- If you have a problem, please contact us first. We will try to resolve it with you directly.
